Brief Biography:

Tameka”Tiny”Cottle born July 14, 1975 to Diana Cottle-Pope and Charles Pope in College Park, Georgia is best known to the world as ¼ of the 90’s singing sensation Xscape; (Tamika Scott, Latocha Scott,Kandi Burrus, Tameka”Tiny”Cottle).

Tiny joined the R&B group in 1992 while attending North Atlanta Performing Arts High School. The group was discovered by Atlanta’s music producer Jermaine Dupri while performing at a Martin Luther King birthday celebration in Atlanta. Upon hearing the ladies’ fierce performance, Dupri immediately signed Xscape to his record label; So So Def Recordings. Following this venture, Cottle collaborated in the releases of the group three platinum albums: “Hummin’ Comin’ At Cha” (1994), “Off THe Hook” (1995), and “Traces of my Lipstick” (1998). She sang lead vocals on four of Xscape’s hit singles:
“Understanding”, “Do You Want To?”, “All I Need”,”Love’s A Funny Thing”, and “Am I Dreamin”.

When Tiny makes the statement, “… music is in my blood, it is a part of me,” no words ring
more true. Tiny’s father and brother are both members of the legendary R&B group, “The Tams.” A strong voice is not the only rock this multi-platinum, multi-talented artist has used to build the foundation on which she stands. Immersed in the arts since childhood, Tiny has been modeling and acting since she was 5 years old, doing several commercials for TBS/Atlanta early in her career.

She co-wrote TLC’s 1998 hit, “No Scrubs” with fellow band mate Kandi Burrus and won a grammy award for it, in the year of 2000. She has not released any solo materials as of yet. According to close friends and family members, Tiny is currently focusing on being a wonderful mother to her three children, Zonnique Pullins; whom she shared with a former flame, King and Major Harris whom she shares with her fiance, Atlanta superstar rapper T.I. T.I.ny as most would like to call them has been together over eight years and are raising their children together in Atlanta. As of November 2009, Tiny has launched her music production company called Major P Productions with former Xscape Member, Keisha Miles. The duo have recently signed two acts to their roster, including The OMG Girlz. Tiny is also in the opening process of filming the second season of her popular reality show; The Tiny & Toya show along with friends, family and her co-star and friend,Antonia Carter. No exact date has been confirmed for the reality show’s second season, but fans should expect the second season sometime in the upcoming year.
